Gouri Liquid PCL Collagen
Developed in Korea, GOURI is the world’s first 100% liquid PCL (polycaprolactone) injectable that was awarded the Best Collagen Inducer Injectable at the 20th AMWC (Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress) awards. As a collagen biostimulator, GOURI stimulates natural collagen synthesis within our skin to provide comprehensive anti-aging benefits, such as wrinkle-smoothing, skin revitalisation, and skin lifting.

HOW IS GOURI PERFORMED?
Prior to your GOURI treatment, our aesthetic doctors will conduct a comprehensive, pre-treatment consultation to evaluate your suitability. This personalised skin assessment ensures that the GOURI treatment is suitable for your specific skin needs.
GOURI can be administered through 2 different methods:
5-Point Injection Technique involves injecting GOURI through 5 bio-stimulatory points on each side of the face
The preferred method, Cannula Technique, is less invasive and safer, and requires only 2 injection points on each side of the face
While the GOURI Cannula Technique requires more precision and skill, our aesthetic doctors prefer using this method as minimises side effects such as swelling, bruising and inflammation that is common with the 5-point Technique.
The Cannula Technique involves the use of a small, blunt-tipped cannula instead of a traditional needle. An entry point is created on the skin with a fine needle, through which the cannula is inserted to insert GOURI into your skin. To ensure maximum comfort, a layer of numbing cream will also be gently applied to your face prior to the treatment to minimise any potential discomfort.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN gouri vs. dermal fillers vs. skin boosters?
GOURI is a collagen biostimulator that uses patented technology to replenish lost collagen and rejuvenate the skin. It is important to note that GOURI should not be confused with dermal fillers, which are primarily designed for facial volumization to address loss of facial volume.
On the other hand, skin boosters primarily consist of hyaluronic acid, aimed at enhancing skin’s hydration and radiance. Their focus is not on visibly reducing signs of aging.
In conclusion, GOURI is neither a skin booster nor a dermal filler. It operates uniquely as a collagen biostimulator injectable treatment, delivering collagen-boosting and rejuvenating effects for mature or aging skin.
DOES GOURI WORK IN CONJUNCTION WITH other aesthetic treatments?
GOURI boasts exceptional compatibility with other aesthetic treatments such as:
Energy-based treatments such as Lasers (such as Lutronic PicoPlus Laser or Fotona Twinlight) or HIFU Ultraformer MPT to accelerate collagen production for exceptional anti-aging and face lifting results.
Injectable treatments such as Botox, Dermal Fillers or Skin Boosters to effectively minimise fine lines and wrinkles, as well as restore facial volume to areas that appear sunken or hollow, such as the under eyes.
However, we recommend maintaining a 1 month interval before-and-after GOURI treatments for optimal results.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOURI AND SCULPTRA?
While both GOURI and Sculptra are collagen biostimulators, their formulas and treatment areas differ:
GOURI uses 100% liquid PCL (polycaprolactone) for a comprehensive anti-aging treatment that is focused on stimulating natural collagen production throughout the entire face.
Sculptra uses PLLA (poly L lactic acid) for facial volumisation and collagen regeneration to reduce facial folds and wrinkles around the smile lines, marionette lines, and wrinkles while stimulating collagen production in those areas.
