WHO IS SUITABLE FOR FOTONA VECTORLIFT®?

VectorLift® is suitable for individuals looking to treat droopy eyelids, or mild to moderate looseness on the eyelid area, upper eye region, and forehead.

However, we do not recommend it for individuals with sensitive or inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea in the treatment area (eyelid, eye and forehead region).

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL LIKE? IS IT PAINFUL?

This procedure takes about 20 to 30 minutes and is safe and comfortable with zero pain. A topical anesthesia is usually applied for 30 minutes before the treatment begins. Most individuals have described the treatment as a gradual warming sensation that's very tolerable.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME AFTER THE TREATMENT?

Patients are able to resume their daily activities immediately after. Apart from temporary flushing of the skin which dissipates within a few hours, there are minimal side effects and no downtime.

Fotona VectorLiftⓇ is generally well tolerated with little to no risk of side effects if performed on a suitable patient.


HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECOVER? IS THERE ANY AFTERCARE REQUIRED?

You may experience some redness in the treatment area, which will dissipate within a few hours. However, patients can still resume their daily activities.

As part of the aftercare procedure, we recommend:

  • Avoid prolonged sun exposure

  • Use a SPF 50 sunscreen to protect your skin daily

  • Avoid whitening and brightening products and products that irritate the skin, e.g. alcohol-based products, acid-based products, and abrasive scrubs
