Let's Talk Lips: Your Guide to a Fuller, Smoother Pout
Lips are one of the major focal points of our face, and an even-shaped, plump, well-hydrated pout has remained a timeless aesthetic ideal. There’s a reason so many celebrities have made specific shades of lipstick their trademark over the years!

Lip Wrinkles?
Lip wrinkles are exactly what the name suggests: thin, vertical lines that occur on the lips. They form on both the lips themselves as well as on the skin of the upper lip in particular, and often stretch from one side of the mouth to the other.
Otherwise referred to as lipstick lines or smoker’s lines, they can occur not just because of a smoking habit, but also because of reduced collagen production caused by aging, and/or sun exposure. Unfortunately, lipstick tends to settle in these ‘cracks’, causing the lips to appear darker and deeper than they actually are. This phenomenon can easily add ten years to our appearance, and concealing them with makeup is a time intensive hassle few of us can afford.
Treatment Options
Thanks to mainstream media, our idea of lip treatments tend to be vague impressions of excessive fillers and overly plumped results.
In truth however, cosmetic medicine has come so far that it can be almost impossible to tell whether someone has had a little help from science to enhance the shape and texture of their lips!

The Process: Lip Fillers
After completing a one-on-one consultation with Dr Lee, your skin will be cleansed before starting treatment.
A topical anaesthetic will then be used to numb the area(s) where you will receive the filler injection. The injection process can then begin, allowing some time for the anaesthetic that is a part of the Restylane® Kysse formula to help further numb the area.
The injection treatment will then be continued to achieve your desired results as previously discussed during your consultation.
After the procedure, the area should be gently massaged to ensure equal distribution of the formula. Any swelling at this point is completely normal and expected.
You are advised to avoid touching the area for at least six hours afterwards, as a precaution against accidentally injuring yourself while the area is still partially numbed.
Laser: Fotona LipLase™

What should I expect?
Each session takes less than an hour and results are visible from the very first session. There is zero downtime or risk of bruising, which means you can resume your daily activities straight away!

The Process: LipLase™
LipLase™ heats the deep layers of the lips to boost collagen production. The outside of the lips and surrounding skin is treated as well as the inner lips, stimulating collagen from both sides.
Optical energy is transmitted in one sub-second long pulse sequence to avoid a build-up of heat. This stimulates new collagen production, improving lip elasticity and texture within 6-7 pulses.
For deeper collagen stimulation, the treatment is also done intra-orally on the inner lining of the lips. This reaches the deeper underlying skin tissues which help with collagen production from the inside and is entirely painless.

Recommended Aftercare
